I'd like to suggest information about the Japanese educational *current status for the parents who have students. As you know, the Japanese education reform "*Reform 2020 Project" will be held in 2020, it's held for the first time in 55 years *after World War Ⅱ. So we have to prepare the Japanese education reform.
It's an assess process made to date in the Second Basic Plan for the Promotion of Education.
1. Reforms for improving English ability
English *proficiency levels of Japanese students have not reached government expected English skills, and efforts shold be made to reach the target *defined under the current plan.
2. Review of Educational Content (Subjects, Courses, and Curriculum) Reforms for improving English ability
Japanese education system has problems of decreasing the birthrate and income *disparity.

日本の教育改革について知っていますか？学生さんがいるご両親にはためになる情報かもしれません。ニュースなどでも報じられているように、2020年に開始する教育改革「改革2020プロジェクト」は小学校・中学校・高校・大学の新学習指導要領に基づく改革で、英語教育や大学入試の改革を含む大きな動きで、55年ぶりの戦後最大の教育改革ともいわれています。子どもさんが大きくなる過程で、それに備えなければなりませんね。教育振興基本計画の評価についてのプロセスとしては、
１、英語力向上のための改革
日本の学生の英語の習熟度は、政府の期待している英語力に達しておらず、現在の計画において定められている目標に達するには、かなりの努力が必要
2.英語力向上のための、教育内容についての見直し（科目、コース、カリキュラム）
さらに、日本の教育制度は、少子化や所得格差といった問題を抱えていることも忘れてはいけません。
