Do you know the *current status of the tourism industry to countries abroad? My husband has been staying in Guam since yesterday. He's going on an *incentive tour becanse he got the employee-of-the-year Award at his company. Today, I'd like to *investigate the tourism industry in Guam. The number of Japanese tourists coming over to Guam has been decreasing year by year, which was 1.1 million tourists in 1997 at its peak, and was about 740,000 tourists in 2016. The amount of direct flights from Japan have been reduced, including United Airlines.

In addition is the fact that North Korea announced the plan to *launch missiles to the area of the Philippines including Guam island on August 9, 2017. It has kept the travelers away from Guam because they can't put up with the threat of North Korea's attack. However, Guam is the best resort island which we are able to visit to learn their history and enjoy the climate and trip for about 50,000 yen for 3 to 4 days. Fothermore, *real estate investments such as condominiums is also *prosperous.

I've never been th there, but I think that Guam is a good place to enjoy a resort and I'll keep touch with my husband to enjoy the resort.

グアムの観光事情について知っていますか？実は夫が先週グアムに会社の報酬旅行に行ってきまして（この時点ではまだ現地でしたが）。。。なので、今日はグアムの観光事情について調べてみたいと思います。グアムへの日本人旅行者の数は1997年の111万人をピークに年々減ってきており、2016年には74万人だったそうです。ユナイテッド航空をはじめ日本からの直行便も減らされている現状です。

加えて、昨年8月に北朝鮮がグアムを含むフィリピン周辺の海域へのミサイル発射計画を公開したこともあって、北朝鮮からの攻撃を脅威に感じ旅行者が減っているのも事実です。

しかし、グアムはその奥深い歴史や常夏の気候を楽しむには最適の場所であり、3泊4日で5万円程度から気軽に行ける最高のリゾートなのです。日本人にとっては、マンションなどの不動産投資も盛んなイメージでしょうか。

私はグアムに行ったことはないのですが、夫がリゾートを楽しむ様子を感じるととてもいい場所だなぁと思います。
