Free Wi-Fi is coming to Japanese McDonald's branches （日本マクドナルド、無料Wi-Fi提供へ）
McDonald's Japan announced that they are going to start the new service of Free Wi-Fi in all of their branches.
They are adding complimentary Wi-Fi service(wireless Internet access), and it's scheduled to be available in some 1,500 branches across all 47 Japanese prefectures by the end of this July.
Customers can log in using their E-mail, Facebook, or Twitter account.
For the last couple of years, McDonald has been looking with envy at Starbucks' and other coffee shops, ability to draw in customers throughout the day to dining time. The burger shops need to be more comfortable to stay for a long time with some coffee and magazines, and of course with the internet.
The Tokyo Olympics is coming to 2020. Many of people from abroad might require not only guide books and maps but also Wi-Fi access points, because they will use their smart phones and tablets for researching facilities and restaurants with wireless internet services.

ここ２年ほどの間、マクドナルドは一日を通しての顧客獲得においてスターバックスや他のコーヒーショップに羨望のまなざしを向けてきました。ハンバーガーショップはコーヒーを楽しみながら雑誌やもちろんインターネットを利用したりしながら長居できるより快適な空間であることを求められてきました。
2020年には東京オリンピックも開催されます。海外からのお客様の多くは、ガイドブックや地図はもとよりWi-Fiのアクセスポイントも必要としています。彼らは施設やレストランを検索するのにスマートフォンやタブレット端末で無線インターネットサービスを利用するからです。
オリンピック競技はもとより、通信手段の最先端も見逃すわけにはいきませんね！
