Also wedding style are changing. More and more couples are holding smaller, more intimate receptions, rather than inviting lots of people to more flamboyant affairs, industry people say.
In response, the bridal industry is now offering more options for small parties to attract customers.
Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo's shinjuku ward says that the annual number of wedding receptions it handled has remained relatively steady the past several years, but the number of small parties has been increasing by 10-15% annually.

東京の新宿区にある京王プラザホテルでは、ここ数年小規模で親しい関係者だけの結婚式が多いといい、毎年10～15％の割合で増えているそうです。
