I'll become an interpreter volunteer for high school students who come to study abroad from Vermont in the United States at the end of this July.
My role is supporting them to go to their work experience.
I'll take them to the companies and offices, so I have to tell them how to get the train and bus tickets to get there.
I'm so excited, partly because the chairman of International Exchange Association reqested me to be the interpreter volunteer direcly.
We became acquaintances when I took part in the English speech contest last year, so she recommended me to be the interpreter!
The information obtained from the high school students of other countries will be very exciting for me.
I'm looking forward to meeting them!
今年の７月末、アメリカのバーモント州から留学のためにやって来る高校生たちの、通訳ボランティアをすることになりました！
私の役目は、職業体験に行く彼らのサポートをすること。
職業体験先の企業や事務所まで彼らを案内し、電車の乗り方や切符の買い方などを教えていくことになります。
嬉しいことに、国際交流協会の会長から直々に通訳ボランティアをお願いできないかと依頼があったのです。
昨年末の英語スピーチコンテストに参加したことでお声をかけていただいたのです。

他国の高校生から得られる情報は、とても刺激になると思います。
バーモントの高校生たちに会えるのが楽しみです！
