Nikkei buy out the Financial Times

The Japanese media company Nikkei Inc. will take over the Financial Times Group of publisher of the Financial Times newspaper for 844 million pounds ($1.3 billion), the biggest cross-border deal in the newspaper industry.
日本経済新聞社は、英フィナンシャル・タイムズ・グループ（ＦＴ)を８億４４００万ポンド（約１，６００億円）で買収すると発表した。日本のメディア企業による海外企業買収としては過去最大規模となる。
Nikkei's growth lies along the axes of "digital" and "global," Chairman Tsuneo Kita stressed at a news conference here Friday.
